Restaurants

  • Oskar Blues. Probably the best with dogs because of the spacious outdoor seating. Food is via a food truck with bar food basics such as burgers, fries, etc.
  • Ecusta. Great food for a brewery and beer is very good. Dogs are allowed but setting could be stressful for reactive dogs on busy days since outdoor seating is close together and there tends to be lots of kids running around.
  • Pisgah Bakehouse. Pastries, sandwiches, pizza are all delicious. Outdoor seating is tight and the parking lot is almost always full. If you can get there early to get food for your hike, that’s the best plan.
  • Falls Landing. Not a dog friendly restaurant but the best trout dish in town.
  • Love Eat Thai. Not dog friendly but delicious, non greasy Thai food.
  • Flour. In Asheville but worth the drive if you want to enjoy the best biscuit in the universe.
